This month’s JFI (Jihva For Ingredients) food blog event took place on July 1st. Well, to those of you who aren’t aware of JFI, its a revolving food blog event started by Indira of Mahanandi in May 2006, where each month, food bloggers from around the world, cook a dish based on an ingredient announced by the host of that particular month and post it to their respective blogs on the 1st of every month.
I am the host for this month’s JFI and the ingredient I chose was Dal (Lentils) and there were 45 participants from all over the world sending in over 50 different varieties of Dal dishes.
I have created a slide show with an image of each entry along with a caption of the blog name, participant’s name and name of the dish. (Place your cursor over the picture to view the caption)
